The CBCF Dream

The CBCF dream is to teach the simplicity of Christ through
bringing a relevant word to our world by all means.

It is our dream to establish a local church like no other (uniquely
distinct in purpose, anointing, direction and it’s focus; therefore,
being free of all comparison, competition, copying and criticizing
of all other ministries) in the beautiful city of Chesapeake, Virginia, and
both the entire Hampton Roads and abroad.

It is our dream to establish the kingdom of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ in the hearts, minds and souls of individuals of various cultures and nationalities and economical, social, emotional, mental and financial backgrounds.

It is our dream to establish a people that possess the mindset of a victor irregardless of their present circumstances, situations or conditions that may appear to be unfavorable and not that of a victim.

It is our dream to establish a church that is not only filled with but also draws people of “Like Precious” faith like a metal to a magnet who also possess a “Spirit of Faith” to accomplish the vision and mission of CBCF.

It is our dream to establish a local house of prayer, power and praise that promotes and fosters a genuine spirit of mutual love, respect, honor and unity among the membership; therefore, extending both the love and the kingdom of God into our local communities.

It is our dream that CBCF would be a place where the people of God realize that our primary ministry is to “Minster to Him” in all that we say and do; and not to attempt to showcase our credentials of past achievements for personal gain or advancement.

It is our dream to be an oasis of healing for those who have been spiritually abused, misused and mistreated, and to equip and empower them by the Spirit of God through the knowledge of His word. To enable them to see that their “Misery” is actually their “Ministry.”

It is our dream to raise up a people that have a genuine desire and passion for reaching the lost (the “Un-Churched”) through personal lifestyle evangelism. We desire for their lives to become an immediate witness to the loss opening a window of opportunity for them immediately present the gospel.

It is our dream to teach, train and raise up men of God who are spiritually aggressive as the “Strongman” of their families and homes. Men (married, single and even those divorced) that are pillars of excellence, integrity and character both within the local church and community. These men, are the Mighty Men of Valor.

It is our dream to raise up Women of Purpose & Covenant who are uniquely free from whispering, gossip, backbiting, jealousy, envy and criticism of their sister in Christ.

To raise up godly women of character, excellence and grace through the word of God to not only be on the level of the Proverbs 31 woman but also after the order of Sarah, Ruth, Esther, Deborah, Abigail and Mary.

It is our dream to minister to the needs of the entire family (adults, youth, and children alike) through various outreaches, programs and scheduled events with them in mind; that will teach, train, mentor and release them into their God-given purpose.

It is our dream to recognize (those with a genuine calling upon their lives) and raise up ministers of the gospel that are free from pride, arrogance and greed. To raise up in-house ministers that are humble, thankful, maturing, teachable and grateful for the opportunity to serve God’s people. They recognize that the one who has the gift is not greater nor above the one who gave the gift –the Lord.

It is our dream to establish a church where its membership is loyal, committed and dedicated to one single purpose; to expand the kingdom of God through the vision of CBCF which clearly exalts Jesus Christ as Lord.

It is our dream to establish a church where members come and readily and whole-heartedly connect with what has already been established with no hidden and personal agendas to try to change, alter and even replace the vision of CBCF with their own personal ideas, opinions and goals.

We refuse and resist with passion those who attempt to entice us (through criticism, misunderstandings, disagreements, false accusations and offenses) to draw us away from our purpose, assignment, the will and the timing of the Lord and into what they feel we should be as a church, where we should be as a church and what we should or shouldn’t be doing as a local church.

It is our dream to raise up a local body of believers that not only know the vision of CBCF but in fact, are “Carriers” of that vision throughout their daily lives; looking for the opportunities to share it with those they come into contact with.

It is our dream to establish a local church where the membership uniquely demonstrates genuine love, respect, loyalty (not worship or idolization) and support (in attitude and thought, not merely action) to the leadership, purpose, vision and mission of CBCF.

It is our dream to create an atmosphere of anointed worship in which the Spirit of the Lord would not only be welcomed but His Presence and Lordship in our lives would rest upon each and every service and be clearly visible to all.

It is our dream to establish a church that is free from the dictates, political agendas and governments of men; so that the government of God would be established, released and received in the hearts of the membership.

It is our dream to raise up a local body of believes that have entered into a genuine relationship with the Lord, therefore casting off all religious pretense and falsehoods.

It is our dream to establish a church where individual as well as corporate purpose is established without the attempt to clone one after another or cause one to lose their personal identity. CBCF is where every member can say, “I Am Free to Be Me.”

It is our dream to be a center of excellence in which its membership take great delight in supporting the work of this ministry with their time, talents and treasures.

It is our dream to be a mature, mobilized and militant spiritual army of 2,500 in weekly attendance at CBCF. An army that clearly, uniquely and favorably acquire and possess adequate property and lands to expand the ministry and advance God’s purpose in the earth.

It is our dream to be a place where each person, each gift and each function is valued and it importance recognized by all to accomplish Heaven’s orders.

It is our dream to focus or emphasize (by our assignment) biblical teachings on prosperity, confession and not merely faith alone, but in fact more specifically; having faith in God.

It is our dream to yield to and walk in the fullness of the “Apostolic” anointing and mantel (within our measure) that the Lord has place upon this ministry.

It is our dream that we would articulate this dream on a regular basis in its simplest form to our membership, so that they will not only run with the vision (Habakkuk 2:1-3; Proverbs 29:18) but also, undoubtedly known within their hearts, minds and souls that this one statement rings true for us; “It’s All About Him!”
